This position is responsible for managing a team responsible for Property & Casualty licensure of insurance agents, team leaders and trainers.Develops and maintain the licensing process ensuring agents are licensed in the state they will be operating in, appointed with all our carriers and helps create reports and job aides for the insurance team.


  • Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.

  • Develops and implements strategies for efficiently ensuring compliance with license-related regulations.

  • Strategically plans and executes initiatives to enhance the Property & Casualty licensure program.

  • Subject matter expert on the rules and regulations for their resident state to ensure that agents can get licensed in that specific state.

  • Acts as the insurance vertical subject matter expert for the organization.

  • Develops and grows the knowledge base for all Property & Casualty licensure rules and regulations.

  • Acts as the main point of contact between the organization and licensing bodies or commissions.

  • Administers policies governing the collection and management of employee information, license applications, or related records and paperwork.

  • Develops the employee study assistance program and process relating to study material/instructions, study tips, coaching, communication plan and progress tracking.

  • Improves study and test taking effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques.

  • Manages the licensure program for the business across multiple sites and geographies.

  • Reviews the department's work for accuracy and quality.

  • Analyzes operating practices and results relative to established objectives, makes recommendations to improve service levels or correct procedural problems and ensures that appropriate steps are taken in a timely manner to correct unsatisfactory conditions.

  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to Licensing Specialists.

  • Leads and directs the work of Licensing Specialists. Has full authority for personnel decisions, may have impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.

  • Supports, collaborates and provides guidance to the recruiting team ensuring the right expectations around requirements and study efforts are provided.

  • Interrelates with the training department to ensure that training content is appropriate for the account to include after-training behaviors and areas of skills and knowledge.

  • Works with the project team for each different “Licensed project” as each requires different steps and uses a separate system.

  • Keeps abreast of market tendencies for its current and potential clients, defining actions, in a timely manner.

  • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
